Miss Hamran was my third grade teacher in Alvord in 1963 and my sons third grade teacher at West Lyon in 1991. I am thankful for the many manners that were taught in her classroom as well as the lunchroom

And organized was my cooperating teacher in 1977...while I was student teaching Asborg and her sister decided to trim some high branches in one of their trees. Asborg never shied from hard work and managed to get a leg broken...cut up. While recuperating she guided me through teaching via phone and mail...no computer back then. She was an amazing woman and an excellent guide. May God bless her always. Jeanette Hopkins

Miss Hamran was my third grade teacher at West Lyon. She would leave candy in our next if we had a clean desk. She was a nice lady.
