(1954 – 2025)

Nació en Venezuela, en agosto 24 de 1954. Hija de Jesús Ángel Fuenmayor y Rufina Elisa Villalobos de Fuenmayor. Sus hermanos Esmeiro, Egda, Jhonny, Maria, Sergio y Jose.

En febrero 14 de 1976 contrajo matrimonio con Marciano Rodríguez de cuya unión nacieron sus hijos: Juan Carlos, Jesús Luis, José Benito, José Daniel y Milagros del Carmen. Sus yernos: Ariant, Hazahet, Maryorick, Valeria y Gianni. Sus nietos: Carlos, Paula, Camila, Claudia, Gianfranco, Gianluca, Miranda y Paul.

Hoy con el alma dolida pero llena de gratitud por su vida, la familia informa su sensible fallecimiento, a sus 70 años partió al encuentro del Señor, rodeada del amor que sembró en cada corazón que la conoció.

Betty fue una mujer extraordinaria: hija ejemplar, madre amorosa, esposa fiel, hermana incondicional, tía entrañable y amiga. Su sonrisa iluminaba cualquier lugar, y su corazón servicial encontraba siempre una forma de reunir a la familia, de celebrar la vida, de hacernos sentir en casa.

Su hogar fue un refugio para todos. Amaba recibir visitas, preparar reuniones, crear momentos inolvidables alrededor del calor familiar. Su legado de amor vive en cada uno de sus familiares, a quienes amó con entrega absoluta.

A todos nosotros nos cuidó como suyos, nos abrazó con el alma y nos regaló amor sin condiciones.

Betty fue una mujer de fe profunda, fervientemente creyente en Dios Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo, devota de la Virgen del Carmen y del Beato José Gregorio Hernández. Su vida fue un testimonio de confianza en la voluntad divina y de esperanza firme en el cielo. Hoy creemos con el corazón que ha sido recibida con dulzura en la morada eterna, donde ya no hay dolor ni sufrimiento, solo la paz del Espíritu.

Gracias Betty, por tanto, te amaremos hoy, mañana y siempre. Dejaste una huella imborrable en los corazones de cada una de las personas que tuvimos la dicha de conocerte.

Te recordaremos siempre como una mujer luchadora, trabajadora incansable y siempre alegre. Estaremos orgullosos de la familia que formaste. Le damos gracias a Dios por habernos permitido disfrutar a tu lado de una vida llena de alegrías, satisfacciones, logros, y sobre todo de amor familiar.

La familia agradece las muestras de cariño, apoyo y respeto recibidas en estos momentos tan difíciles. Su memoria vivirá por siempre en nuestros corazones.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, July 5, at 9:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rock Valley with Father Mauro Sanchez presiding over the mass. Betty María Fuenmayor de Rodríguez was born in Venezuela on August 24, 1954, the daughter of Jesús Ángel Fuenmayor and Rufina Elisa Villalobos de Fuenmayor. Her brothers are Esmeiro, Egda, Jhonny, Maria, Sergio y Jose. On February 14, 1976, she married Marciano Rodríguez, with whom she had five children: Juan Carlos, Jesús Luis, José Benito, José Daniel, and Milagros del Carmen. Her sons-in-law are Ariant, Hazahet, Maryorick, Valeria, and Gianni. Her grandchildren are Carlos, Paula, Camila, Claudia, Gianfranco, Gianluca, Miranda, and Paul.

Today, with a grieving spirit but filled with gratitude for her life, the family announces her passing. At the age of 70, she departed to meet the Lord, surrounded by the love she sowed in every heart that knew her. Betty was an extraordinary woman: an exemplary daughter, a loving mother, a faithful wife, an unconditional sister, a cherished aunt, and a friend.

Her smile lit up any place, and her helpful heart always found a way to bring the family together, to celebrate life, to make us feel at home. Her home was a refuge for all. She loved receiving visitors, preparing gatherings, creating unforgettable moments around family warmth. Her legacy of love lives on in each of her relatives, whom she loved with absolute dedication. She cared for all of us as her own, embraced us with her soul, and gifted us unconditional love.

Betty was a woman of deep faith, a fervent believer in God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, devoted to Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Blessed José Gregorio Hernández. Her life was a testimony of trust in divine will and firm hope in heaven. Today, we believe with all our hearts that she has been received sweetly into the eternal dwelling, where there is no pain or suffering, only the peace of the Spirit.

Thank you, Betty, for so much; we will love you today, tomorrow, and always. You left an indelible mark on the hearts of each person who had the joy of knowing you. We will always remember you as a fighter, and tireless worker, and always cheerful. We are proud of the family you formed. We give thanks to God for allowing us to enjoy a life filled with joy, satisfaction, achievements, and above all, family love at your side. The family appreciates the expressions of affection, support, and respect received during these very difficult times. Your memory will live forever in our hearts.
