Bruce Landegent

Bruce Evan Landegent, 57, of Lawndale, California passed away peacefully Sunday, March 12, 2017, surrounded by loved ones at Providence Hospital in Torrance, CA. Memorial services will be held Friday, March 24, 2017, at 2:30 PM at First Reformed Church of Rock Valley with Rev. Verlyn Boone officiating. Bruce was born in Rock Valley, IA on June 19th, 1959. He was graduated from Rock Valley High School and went on to receive his degree from The University of South Dakota.

Bruce worked as a manager for AMC Theaters in Los Angeles for the majority of his career. He enjoyed traveling around the world and spending time with family. Growing up on the family farm in Iowa, Bruce became a lover of animals and he continued to love animals and support local shelters throughout his life.

Bruce is survived by Aldwin Lorica Lawndale, CA, his parents Bill and Alma Landegent, Rock Valley, IA. A sister Sue (Jan) Nordby, Sioux Falls, SD. Brother Scott (Deb) Landegent, Volga, SD. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
