Charles Robert Trigg

Charles Robert Trigg, born February 15, 1950, in Doon, Iowa, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, in Vancouver, WA. From age 2 until early adulthood, he lived in Orange County, CA and eventually settled in Battle Ground, WA. Charles served as a pastor with Shiloh Ministry for several years. He enjoyed the open-road and spent many years working as a semi-truck driver. Charles was married to Nancy Cady from 1978 to 1998, and together they had four children: Jesse Robert Trigg, Nathan Cady Trigg, Rebekah Ann Swanberg, and Hannah Elizabeth Trigg. He is survived by his children and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Jennie (Jasper) Trigg, and his brother, Larry Trigg. He will be remembered for his passion for God, cheeky humor, lively storytelling, love of animals and the Wild West.

Committal service will be 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Hillside Cemetery in Doon. IA. A Memorial Service will be at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley, IA with Pastor Jim Sweers officiating. Condolences may be sent to www.porterfuneralhomes.com.
