On May 31, 1996, she married Roger Harvey where they’ve made their home on a small acreage outside of Hawarden and have lived there ever since. She worked at Iowa Lamb for approximately 20 years.

Cheryl took great pride in her home and enjoyed gardening, golfing, and the outdoors, and the occasional buggy ride to town with Roger. She truly loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She felt truly blessed to have them in her life.

Among those who survive and gratefully shared her life are her husband, Roger Harvey of Hawarden; two sons, Paul (Trish) Olson of Loveland, Colorado and Aaron Olson (Theresa) of Yankton, South Dakota; step-son, Chad (Sarah) Dimmick of Yankton, South Dakota; five grandchildren, Andrea Olson, Aleczander Olson, Chandler, Karley, and Conner Olson; two-great-grandchildren, Mykala and Max; five step-grandchildren, Brandon and Tyler Dimmick, Trevor (Alyssa), Cassie and Tad Schuurmans; a sister, Candice Broline (Diane) of Columbus, North Carolina; a brother, David (Christine) Broline of St. Petersburg, Florida; many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, “Scooter”.
