Jim was always a good neighbor to me and my family. But I especially recall his kindness to us after our housefire: went to town to get lunch for all the firefighters and us then helped with the removal of the old house and excavation for our new one.

Bonnie and I enjoyed watching the memorial video.

May the DeKams find peace in the midst of their grief.

To the DeKam family, my sympathy in passing away of Jim. May the Lord be your Comforter in this time of sorrow.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness

Marge and family, our deepest sympathies on Jim's passing. I've always felt that the Dr Kam's were more like family than friends and have so many wonderful memories with them, I will always cherish those memories forever
Sending you all our love and keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Jim = Man of God. Prayerful. Patience. Trustworthy. Loving. Genuine. Forgiving. Caring. Listener. Gentle. Friend. Heart for the hurting. Obedient. Faithful. Open. Fisher of men and fish. Kind hearted. Reader. Friend of many. Spoke the truth in love.

All of these words describe Jim. Many will greatly miss him. We find comfort in knowing God said to Jim "well done my good and faithful servant."
