Laynee Jean Van Kekerix

Rock Valley, IA: Laynee Jean Van Kekerix, infant daughter of Bryant and Brittani (De Jager) Van Kekerix, was stillborn, safe in the arms of Jesus, on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Visitation with the family present will be held Tuesday, February 27, from 9:30-10:30 AM at First Reformed Church of Rock Valley. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM at First Reformed Church with Rev. Cliff Hoekstra officiating. The service can be livestreamed at https://www.rvfrc.org/live-streaming/. Private family burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery of Rock Valley. 

   Laynee will be forever loved and remembered by her parents, Bryant and Brittani Van Kekerix; sister, Brekyn; brother, Jace; grandparents, Gary (Carla) De Jager and Berwyn (Kristi) Van Kekerix; great-grandparents, Mary Koldenhoven and Lee Te Slaa; and uncles and aunts, Marcus (Danielle) Van Kekerix, Elliot (Jaclyn) Van Kekerix, Blake De Jager, and Dawson De Jager.

   She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Ronald Koldenhoven, Geraldine Koldenhoven, Bert Van Kekerix, Jeanette Van Kekerix, Vi Te Slaa, Jo De Jager, and Vern De Jager.
