Linda Carrol Murphy

HAWARDEN, IOWA – Linda Murphy passed away peacefully at her home at Pioneer Valley Living and Rehab in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa on Sunday, December 20, 2020. She went to be with her daughters Anita and Bridgette at the age of 77 years.

   Linda was born February 16, 1943 in Portland, Oregon. She was raised in Anchorage, Alaska and liked to go hunting at a young age. Linda worked 11 years at Levitz Furniture Store as a sales associate and she was a care giver for 10 years, which she really enjoyed. Mom loved her dogs, and she will be missed by many.

   Linda is survived by her daughters, Brydie Green and Machelle Skogen; son, David Murphy; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

   She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil; mother, Betty; and sister, Brenda.
