Rock Valley, IA: Orville Kooistra, age 82, of Rock Valley died Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Whispering Heights in Rock Valley. Visitation with the family will be held 9:30-10:30am followed by a funeral service at 11:00am all on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Faith Reformed Church in Rock Valley. Pastor Chris Van Beek will be officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery. A livestream of the funeral service can be found at www.faithrv.com. The Kooistra family is under the care of Porter Funeral Home and condolences for the family may be left online at www.porterfuneralhomes.com.
