Rock Valley, IA: Shirley Anne De Ruyter, 89, of Rock Valley, Iowa, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026, at her home in Rock Valley under the loving care of her family and Sioux Center Health Hospice & Home Care. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 10, at 10:00 AM at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Rock Valley with Pastor Edward Pease officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery of Rock Valley. Visitation with the family present will be held Monday, March 9, from 5:30-7:00 PM at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Rock Valley.
