Todd Daniel Van Holland

Rock Valley, Iowa ~ Todd Daniel Van Holland, of Rock Valley, formerly of Sioux Center, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

  Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31, at Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center, Iowa, with Pastor John Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery at Rock Valley, Iowa. A luncheon and time of fellowship will be at the Faith Reformed Church in Rock Valley following the committal service. Public viewing, with no family present, will be from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, at Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley and again the hour prior to the service at the church. Todd’s family prefers that memorials be directed to Sioux County Conservation Board, Sioux Center Christian School, or Unity Christian High School in his memory.

   Todd Daniel Van Holland was born on April 17, 1980, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Herman and Donnadell (Bleeker) Van Holland. He graduated from the Netherlands Reformed Christian School in 1998.

   He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad, brother, and cousins. He later shared that joy with his children, Cody, Lane, and Mya. He started working at the Sioux Center Veterinary Clinic at age 14, with his brother and cousins. He loved working with livestock and valued his customers like family.

   Todd was very active with the Bethel CRC silage covering fund raiser project. It was especially important to him that a strong work ethic and faith in God be passed down to his kids.

   Todd is survived by his 3 children, Cody, Lane, and Mya; his brother, Tony; and sister, Gwen (Mark) den Hollander and their children Katelynn (Corwin) Butyn, Lucas (Shania) den Hollander, and Logan den Hollander.

   He was preceded in death by his parents, Herm and Donna Van Holland; and his grandparents, Dick and Dora Bleeker and Anthony and Margaret Van Holland.
