Aunt Waunda enjoyed a great family life and I remember her for having her cousin parties that encouraged all the Johnsons to get together and to know each other. We came from Texas a number of times to visit with her, Uncle Bob and my cousins. She took us on trips around the county to show us all the places of interest. She was a lot of fun to be with. She recounted her life as a school teacher that I found very interesting. She helped me appreciate the Johnson Family history in Inwood that was significant. I feel lucky that she touched my life.

Waunda was a special friend and neighbor when I was growing up. I have such fond memories of Waunda and Bob and going to their house on Saturdays to help clean and organize different things. She grew beautiful violets in the front breezeway. Her passion for teaching inspired me to become a teacher. Her stories about students and silly situations and comments made - I will miss her! So very thankful Waunda was in my life and could spend her final years with my mom at Fellowship Village. My deepest sympathy to Laurie, Nate, and family! Love and God bless, Roxane Kock McCasland
