Bryan David White was born in Tulare, California on May 4, 1957. He passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020 at his home in Hawarden, Iowa. He was 62 years old.
Bryan grew up in Tulare where he graduated from Tulare Union High School.
He married Annette McCarthy in 1982. Bryan graduated from Lederwolf Culinary School in Sacramento, California. Bryan and Annette moved to Hawarden, Iowa in 2003. He was last employed at Royale Meadows Care Center as a cook. He loved his job and the people he worked with.
Bryan was a devout parishioner of St. Mary’s Parish in Hawarden. He loved cooking and did catering business with his wife and son for a short time in Hawarden. He loved the Iowa farm life, raising sheep and spending time with his beloved dogs.
Bryan is survived by his wife, Annette White of Hawarden; stepdaughter, Cortney Block of Belize; his mother, Nancy White and sister Lizabeth White both of Tulare.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ian who passed away in 2010 and his father David White.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Grace Hill Cemetery in Hawarden at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2020 with Father Bill McCarthy, with a dinner afterwards at the Shelter House at the City Park in Hawarden. Those that attend the Mass are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and practice social distancing. The family prefers memorials be directed to the West Sioux Educational Foundation.
